The entrance to the Gardens is off the west side of the Park & Tilford shopping mall. Shade loving hostas, interesting shrubs and seasonal flowers line the path as you go through the gate. Just inside the gate you are greeted by a bust of the benefactor, George Kuhn.
Mr. Kuhn was the CEO of the Park & Tilford Distillery where whiskey was brewed. The surrounding area was very industrial and he had the vision of building a beautiful garden where the staff could enjoy their breaks from their work.
