Description: Perennial Vine to 25′. Grape-like leaves are finely serrated, hairy. Male & female flowers occur on separate plants. Both are inconspicuous. The fruit is a cone-like strobile appear in fall.

Harvesting: Pick the “cones” when they are partly dry and amber brown. Dry them quickly in an oven as they do not store well.
