
Description: Annual. Huge 3-5″ very fragrant leaves. White flowers in July & August. Height 1-2′. Once thought a herb of love.

Harvesting: Keep flower spikes picked off regularly, before the flowers open, to promote denser plants. Fresh leaves have the best flavour, but they can be frozen or dried.
Medicinal Uses: A tea after a meal aides digestion & gas; stomach cramps & constipation.
Culinary Uses: Add leaves to salads. Make into pesto, add to tomato sauces, cheese & egg dishes. Dried leaves can be added to a potpourris. and can add luster to hair.
Cultural Requirements: Full sun in moist, rich soil. Start seeds indoors in spring
