The captivating and charming Rose Garden can be viewed in its full grandeur in June and July. The many rose varieties surround the large circular pool and fountain and thrive in our perfectly suited climate.

Floribunda, hybrid tea, shrub and climbing roses produce stunning, colourful blooms and heady perfumed fragrance.

A raised perennial border surrounds the brilliant display and adds additional colour and interest throughout the summer months.
The Florentine Pergola is draped with an impressive Japanese Wisteria (Wisteria floribunda) displaying its gorgeous purple blooms.

The yew hedge nearby was planted over 50 years ago and underwent a renovation in 2024. The north side of the garden has a dense hedge of Columnar English Oaks (Quercus robur ‘Fastigiata’).

The building at the west end of the Gardens houses the Office and the Rose Room. There is an Evergreen Clematis (Clematis armandii) over the Rose Room.
